Motorcycle Awareness

(Kirksville, MO) – Kirksville Police would like to remind citizens that the weather is warming up and they need to be on the “look out” for more and more motorcycles on the roadways. Remember to always “look twice” and make sure that you are not pulling out in front of anyone. Motorcycles are smaller vehicles and can be hard to see, but if you take the time to look then everyone can enjoy the warm weather.

May is officially Motorcycle Awareness Month, but KPD is wanting to get a jump start by telling everyone to be safe when operating vehicles on all public roadways. By doing simple things like looking twice, using turn signals and obeying traffic laws can keep everyone safe and allow them to enjoy the upcoming summer months.
