Suspect arrested after attempted break in
(Kirksville, MO) – On 10/24/2017 Kirksville Police Officers were dispatched to a burglary alarm at 311 N. Baltimore (Walgreens). Officers were advised that a white male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt was smashing out the glass to the front door of the business. Officers arrived and found damage to the door.
While video surveillance was being looked at another officer located a suspect matching the description near the intersection of Normal and Baltimore.
A positive identification was made on Billy E Thudium. Thudium was arrested and transported to the Adair County Detention Center. At the jail, Thudium confessed to the damage to the business. The Kirksville Police Department was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s Department.
